new things
so, upon turning twenty two, i made a list of twenty two things i want to do before i turn twenty three (next january). one of those things was to try more things with my hair. it is the longest it has ever, ever been (about at my waist) and i've never been super adventurous with styles or colors. alas, i have decided i will be coloring my hair for the first time EVER. yes, i have virgin locks. and the look i would like to take on is this ombre trend. my appointment isn't for another three weeks (to give myself time to back out if i want to), but the above look is what i am shooting for. we'll see!
spring shoes
I am swooooning over these two tone flats and wedges over at Maraias USA.
They will have to be Spring staples.

spice up your cash
I don't know why, but I have always been a big, big fan of wallets and pocketbooks. I just think if you use an object so much, you should at least use one that is both pretty and functional. Lately, I've been on the prowl for a pretty vintage wallet...Etsy, that's where you come in!
très chic!
so, so darling.
love this functional zipper at the bottom. and the fabric reminds me of a grandma couch!
what better place to hold your greens?

lovely nails
I love, love, love to paint my nails. I am constantly changing colors and designs. This color has been keeping my nails happy lately.
And if Alexa dons it, it must be good!

tartine delicous
The Selby recently profiled Chad Robertson and Elizabeth Prueitt of the delicious Tartine Bakery in San Francisco. There home seems so pure, fresh, and I know it must smell delicious at all times. Definitely one of my favorite Selby tours ever, and is only getting me more excited for my SF trip on Friday!
beginning
People these days don't try effortlessness enough. Everyone is so concerned with looking perfect, playing by the rules, and mimicking what they think is expected of them. I find that troubling and want to embrace effortlessness in every aspect of life. Here, I would like to show my favorite examples and heroes of effortlessness and simplicity in that sense.
